We made a video of the LED conversation done on my car. Also added a third brake light.

@jdamiano

Very nice video and it will definitely be helping me. I'm part way through my LED upgrades and I just have a couple questions...

After you replace the blinker, you explain the modifications to the connections on the switch. Is that so the fogs always come on with the main lights? or was that part of the blinker modification?

Also, you mentioned that you would list the sources for the bulbs etc. not from Vintage LED or Spoke, but they are not there yet. I really like the slim 3rd brake light you used. Where is it from?

I plan to use my fog lights as running lights so the mod I did has them turn on only when the running lights are on. I added links in the video with the instructions I used to wire them. There are a couple options in the document. I also added links to all the bulbs and 3rd light in the video.

Links for the 3rd light and bulbs are in the video description now. Hadn’t hit save yesterday.

That was a nice overall video of the light conversion process and how basic it is. I believe every street-driven 914 should be all LED exterior lighting to increase visibility and safety. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
