Found this in my basement, no clue what it's from. Pretty sure the bag is from a 73 but that's all I'm sure of. Wrenches are Hazet (13/10 & 13/8), no markings on anything else.

Karmann Ghia?

I never owned one, but my Dad did own a green 64 Beetle. Doesn't explain the bag though.

Looks right for 73-74 with the white handle screwdriver. Many of the same tools were used in VW's.

When did they switch to the cheap plastic tool bags? I'd like to source one of those nicer pouches if it's period correct for an April 73 production car.

The switch to the cheap black plastic bag happened very late in 73 so the nice blue vinyl bag should be perfect for you

the screwdrivers were randomly white or black - from beginning to end of 74 MY.

it was a standard VW toolkit - in beetles, 412s, KGs. at least in 74. included a hub cap puller (even though 914s did not have hubcaps in 74 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

toolkit above is missing the hub cap puller it would have had too pre 74.
