That's a good question, Rich. I have a late '75 car with a GC block but running 73-74 2.0L heat exchangers. I'm not sure what the differences in the shrouds are and I couldn't easily find an explanation.

The later shroud had additional bosses cast to allow the mounting of an Air pump, thats all. There is no up or down side from using either unless you are going for "correct" restoration.
