I'm replacing the wiper switch on my '73. I bought a used wiper switch from @914Sixer . There's a loose piece in the bag and I cannot tell where it goes in the switch.
Does it just pop in somewhere or is it broken? |

Looks like your new switch is missing the long metal piece that makes contact with that short ground piece.

Switch is 6 pin, for electric pump. No lever for squirter.

Switch is 6 pin, for electric pump. No lever for squirter. Still needs to switch power for the pump. You're missing the part that makes electrical contact with the ground tab, which has nothing to do with the pneumatic squirter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

You should be able to trace out your new switch. Who knows, maybe it has some different innards we can't see. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
