So I have new vinyl and refreshed trim. I am interested in the step by step procedure that will allow me the easiest install. I think I already need to un-install the aluminum track that holds the rubber gasket in place on the front of the targa bar. I'm guessing the steps are 1) install the vinyl with overlap 2) trim the vinyl 3) install the alu trim and rear targa top trim 4) install the side alu track on the front of the targa bar and 5) install the rubber seal in that track.

Feel free to school me...or link me to the video that might be out there that I couldn't find.

I followed Eric's from PBM a few years back. Don't have the video anymore but reach out to him. It was very easy to follow.

Remove the weather strip channel, top, bottom, and rear sail panel trim.
Remove old vinyl and thoroughly clean off all the old adhesive.
Put pieces of tape to reference the holes for the channel.
Position the new vinyl and tape it in place so you can fold it in half horizontally.
You will fold it in half and spray the adhesive on the back of the vinyl and the panel. I prefer to fold it up from the bottom first and adhere the bottom half first.
Mask off everything you don’t want adhesive on.
Spray adhesive evenly horizontally and vertically and let it dry the recommended amount of time and don’t rush it.
Smooth the vinyl from the fold down across the panel side to side, a little at a time. Don’t try and lay it down all at once as it’s easy to get a wrinkle.
Fold the top down and repeat the process for the top half.
Use a pick to locate the trim channel holes and punch through.
Align the trim channel with the witness marks from original installation.
When threading sheet metal screws back on, press the screw into the hole and rotate counter clockwise until you feel it it click, then tighten.

I just looked on Google for: ready......PMB 914world sail panel

Found this on 914world

world's database is deep but the search function is not as easy as Google.
Ask Google the question and put in 914world

I believe this was Eric’s 914-6 he sold off to the UK many moons ago

Yeah this was perfect! Thanks! Thoughts on the best spray adhesive? Expensive stuff I used for the dash face has already peeled off... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I used to swear by the 3M aerosols but they changed the formulas on almost everything for air quality, so I really don't know today what the best stuff is maybe something else will chime in
