Does anyone recognize this fog light switch? It is what was found on our 1970 914-6. Dr. B's book indicates these should be green and has a different icon on it.
I am going to speculate that since fog lights were an option, a dealer did the install and just grabbed a functional switch. That would make it original but not factory? Still curious what it was actually intended for. ![]() |

The switch does appear to be a 911 item. Probably the car was not equipped with fog lights from the factory, and was a dealer install with available parts.

Only 2 versions. Green one is correct for you. Yellow is some 73 and 74 on Thanks. I appreciate the photo that includes part numbers! I thought maybe the yellow was EU running lights since the icon is different? I guess I will keep what I have for the time being, assuming it works. Then declare our car "original" if not "factory". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It is no where a concours car at this stage anyway. |
