looking for front sway bar drop link to front control arm torque spec. I have seen everything from 18 lbs to 33 lbs. Or I am just not understanding what I am reading. Help...thanks! Curt |

Hi Everyone looking for front sway bar drop link to front control arm torque spec. I have seen everything from 18 lbs to 33 lbs. Or I am just not understanding what I am reading. Help...thanks! Curt Hi Curt, I looked in the Porsche shop manual and it does not give a torque spec. for the end links. So just using a standard torque spec table this is what I came up with. The strength class should be on the head of the bolt. Those are M8 bolts. If its an class 8.8 its 18 ft pounds, if its a class 10.9 it is 26 Ft. Pounds and if it is a class 12.9 then it should be 31 Ft. Pounds. |
