Hoping you knowledgeable people can help a complete dumba$$ like me out. I just noticed today that neither the front or rear left lights blink when the left turn signal is on. However the green arrow on the dash blinks completely normal (I know, at least on modern cars, when a light bulb is out it will blink faster but that is not the case here). The rears are Spoke LED's and the front are regular incandescent. I do know that at least the front worked the last time I drove it because it saw the reflection in a car in front of me. Also the red brake light to the right of the turn signal and corner light to the left do light up well so I don't think it is a wiring issue. However I did remove both the rear and front light to inspect/clean to ensure proper connection and they looked good. The right side all work perfect!

Where do I go from here? What else do I need to check?

I’d pull the LEDs out and insert std bulbs to see if they work. LEDs draw less power and affect the flasher mechanism function. You can search for posts regarding this.

Ok my 2 cents ..thought you need special relay for this setup ,check with Spoke on that ok , LEDS are great but be a PITA in certain applications ,cheers.

I wouldn't mix them either. Get some leds for the front too. You can get a led acceptable relay from the flaps of your choice if that turns out to be the issue. You checked the fuses right?

Here is a thread that should help you plot a course.

The relay you want is an EP26 LED flasher relay.
But I'm not convinced that is your problem.

I would disconnect and reconnect the turn signal wires at housing. Remember that LEDs are not bi-directional. They have a positive and a negative, and if the wires get crossed they will not work. on standard incandescent it does not matter as long as current is flowing, but LEDs are diodes, so it matters. Try hooking the wires up backwards from how they currently are on the light housing and see if that works.

I did check the fuses before I posed but thought it can't hurt to double check and I did find a blown fuse. However I am not that lucky, it was the license plate light and not the turn signal. So then thought OK let me look at the front left (regular) bulb to see if that is burnt out (I know I should have done that first). It looks fine so put it back in and voila it works! OK so the front looked to be a poor connection. So then I take the front bulb out and put it in the left rear and it works! So at this point I am thinking I have a bad LED board but just to double check, I pull the right LED out and put it in the left and nothing, damn. So I take the left board and put it in the right and sure enough it works. SO now I know I don't have a bad board. However it does look like the rear socket does not like the LED now for some reason.

I know the easiest answer is to just put a regular bulb in it and call it a day. However I really do like the idea of it being brighter as I have already been rear ended once and trying to avoid that again. Would the relay flasher help in this instance? If so I am happy to buy it.

Also note the fronts cannot be the Spoke LED's because my car is a slant nose and the turn signal boxes that are on it are the cheap ole ones from FLAPS from back in the 80's.

Tons of smart folks have said it before, but check your grounds really well on that side... Seems odd that one side works and not the other..
