Looking for educated feedback on this project, please. Is it too far in the FRANKENSTEIN WORLD OR, IS THERE SOME REAL POTENTIAL?

It's a pretty snazzy looking outlaw.
Probably not worth trying to put back to stock, or near-stock. Hopefully great to run as-is, but very often major modifications like those require a good amount of finishing, or sometimes just a lot of personalizing. --DD |

If that's your thing, and your size. I bet with those seats, anyone with longer legs will not be happy.

Yeah. I can't imagine a 901 could handle that but the rest of it looks nice.

Someone buy it so I don't! Though I do have a spare Boxster 6-speed just laying around... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
I'd love to get my hands on that thing. A few key changes and it'd be one of the best hot rod 914s out there. Tell you what, YOU buy it and I'll help you make it your dream car! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

That's Tits. Someone spent some time on that one. I'd love to have it. Back to stock may not be the most fiscally possible move for this one, it would be cheaper to buy a 914 closer to what you want. I hope someone here gets it

Yes, boxster S six speed would be nice, but the 901 works fine if you don’t drag race it. Easy to swap out the seats if you need more leg room. Another concern is the monster tires. That will kill the transmission and cv joints. Also the front would be harder than hell to parallel park. Easy also to change the rims and tires to something more negotiable with spacers. I am also not a fan of carbs. Either swap it with a Holley sniper or LS

Reminiscent vibes of the Dan McLaughlin A*I*R feature car for (R/T) magazine; dark blue John Bond 930 drive-train 9146 proj, as these are similar body panels.
With the right work, could also make a nice Altec/Lansing tribute car. This car has been flipped several times in its life. |
