Turn signal won’t cancel. Tried new signal switch and cancellation ring.

Did you remove the steering wheel? The wheel has a tang that contacts part of the turnsignal lever when the lever is activated. Check that the tang is there and the part of the lever interferes with the tang to cancel the turnsignal.
