The model maker didn't quite get the distinctive feature that i haven't noticed on any racing 914.... The GHE rubber hood straps instead of the usual steel pins.

According to this book it finished 21st overall and 2nd in class in that race.

Thanks Charles, i must try and get a copy of this book. Hopefully there will be some pictures of the 914 6 GT prototype. Another car with the GHE front trunk rubber latches. Does anyone have a link to anymore photo's of this factory car.? Would love a look at the interior.
