Hi all,
My fuel injector elbow on #1 is leaking, so I’ve decided to replace all four. Both PMB and 914Rubber are currently out of stock, so I’m debating between: waiting ~3 weeks and getting the pre-formed elbow hoses from Pelican, https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/0431...amp;ByPassCat=Y Or buying straight fuel hose from Sierra Madre (in stock) and cutting/bending them myself https://sierramadrecollection.com/products/...-76-n-020-281-1 For those who’ve done this before — how difficult is it to form a proper elbow without kinking the hose? Is it worth waiting/paying more for the pre-formed ones, or is DIY perfectly fine and easy to do? For clamps, I’m planning to use Porsche/Würth Zebra clamps https://sierramadrecollection.com/products/...x-drive-5391016 Unless there’s a better option I should consider. Appreciate any input — thanks as always. |
