So the setting blocks that came with the butyl tape are as thin as the plastic clips for the trim. Doesn’t make sense. Windshield basically will sit on the clips. Of course I corrected this.

packages being sold as installation kits are wrong. One states setting blocks can be used for front windows and rear. I don’t think so!
Like i said if the setting blocks are as thick as the clips something is wrong. Am I the only one thats sees this. I would think that the setting blocks should be thicker than the plastic retainer clip for the molding. Cut in half and double up or put small pieces on top of the clips? |
