I am in desperate need of a known working drivers side rear brake caliper to get my teener back on the road. I could also use a good used rear rotor as well as it was chewed up pretty bad / metal on metal.
I sold my Navigator DD last Friday (at a steep discount) in order to buy another car, which the seller then decided he didn't want to sell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fyou1.gif) My teener (now my only means of getting around besides my mtb) is on jack stands having the tires balanced and to replace the rear brake pads. I ever so gently went to back off the driver side vent clearance adjuster only to have it start flowing brake fluid out of the adjuster hole...figures, failed outer adjuster o-ring. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) The passenger side outer adjuster luckily worked just fine, but I haven't had a chance to try the inner adjuster on it yet, and might possibly need to replace it as well. If anybody can help me out with any of these items, especially if you're local to Nashville or Chattanooga (I'm half way between both), please LMK ASAP. I'm also willing to trade my NOS 047 MPS, die cast cars, and some other things I'll be listing for the caliper(s) and rotor, Thanks in advance. |
