A long-dormant 74 D-Jet 2.0 died after driving 100 feet, and when I tried to restart it, the starter motor didn't do anything. Not even a click from the solenoid. Had to tow it back into the yard. After waiting 30 minutes, the starter engaged and the car started and ran fine for another 3 minutes, then died again. I don't get it. Maybe a loose ground? Heat soaked electronics?

By the way, I just replaced the fuel pump. The car also has a high idle after startup. 2-3k rpm.

Thanks in advance!
