If you are going to build a tribute, it’s certainly one to model from.

No Dunpy sticker, it's a total loss... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)
Pretty cool build really, lots of the right parts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) wonder what it will fetch

This is a good Tribute !
Text says "May" qualify for historic racing qualification. FIA certificate runs with the historic car, I have no idea how to get an FIA certificate on a tribute; might be a newer class ¿¿
Body is done well, but for that coin you WouldaThunk that (while in body shop) a small sheet metal extension could have been worked into the rear quarters...to replicate #40's bigger rear flares.
245 hp out of a 2.3L is adequate, but Sonauto's 2.0L in 906 tune is almost there at 237 hp.
Member here Martin Baker has an outstanding Sonauto tribute club racer, I'm sure he would part with her for ½ that price .
@eric9144 Little racer-man Elio approves Dunpy !

Marty - That's interesting that the car has wider than stock rear flares. Any other special features?

We built a 2.5 "cheater" motor on a 2.0 case for a real 906. I believe it got 289hp on a very conservative dyno.

Mark, still a mystery what the Team Sonauto did just under the headliner, in order to pass LM24 '70 'Roll bar tech inspection. There are bars up in there, and pin to all 4 corners. Eventually we will cut away the headliner, for now it stays.
The #40 rear ventilated brake 'Hats are specific to the M471/ GTs, as they offset the rear wheels to widen the rear track (nla today) ; and do not require aftermarket spacer plates.
Several other Tribute Car touches are missing...compare to this pic.
