1973 driver's window still binding after much work, I'm out of ideas... Options

I just completely removed and replaced the glass and window regulators in my 1973 2.0. I dove in because the driver's window, in particular, has a tight spot when raising. Here's what I've done.

1. Replaced the rollers with new parts from 914 rubber.

2. Checked the regulator for binds and play - all seems good.

3. Cleaned all the roller tracks, and blasted and painted the rusty short tracks that bolt to the door.

4. Lubricated everything. I used Super Lube with PFE for the rollers and tracks, and 3-in-1 Window & Track Dry Lube in the glass tracks. I chose both after Ai searches which recommended them.

5. Carefully aligned glass tracks. It works really well on the passenger door. On the driver's door, when raising it binds around 1/4 of the way up, and requires more effort to get past the tight spot. Then it's fine again.

While I had everything apart, I compared the arc of the two front tracks, and they aren't quite the same. I can't imagine how one or the other could have gotten bent - it's a U-channel with no access for damaging force. Has anyone tried re-arcing one of those tracks?

The glass on the driver's side fits in the frame very well, perhaps even "perfectly." The quarter window fits tight at the windshield, and the door glass fits at the top and back.

This isn't a shop-stopper, but I'd love to get the driver's door as easy to raise as the passenger door. Any ideas or advice? Many thanks!
