Trying to sort out some wires on my car. There is a small bundle that comes over the top center of the engine. I have found...

White or gray - connects to AAR valve
Black/red - connects to + side of coil
Black - connects to - side of coil
Green/red- connects to oil pressure switch

Green/black tracer - connects to ???

Looked on my color wiring diagram and could not find this wire.

Could someone please tell what it connects to? Thanks in advance.

You have a 1970-71 1.7L ignition harness. It’s not correct for your car, largely because of the heater fan wiring.

Oil temp sender is green/black stripe.

Hmmm.
My car does not have an oil temp gauge so the wire remains unconnected?
The heater fan (?) in the engine compartment works, but not at the car so I dont know what wire color connects to it.

Is it possible car got an earlier wire bundle?
Car VIN is 4732902040. Maybe it's an early 73 car?
Car sat for 20 years, has approx 13,000 miles and had only one previous owner

Unexpected answer but thanks...I think.

There is a loose wire with a big square bit on the end that just sits there loose. I asked about it a couple days after I bought my 914...
