I’m really confused. My plan is to try and get just inner/front cv’s for my 2005 Impreza 5 speed. Sending my 914 axles and sub cv’s to Dutchman and have him rework one end of the 914axle to mate those inner sub cv’s. Not connecting the dots as to why I would have to mess with unbolting the shocks and lowering the trailing arms????
For the record I will be replacing the trans seals and also will be measuring the axles once the trans is in the car for Dutchman because he may need to shorten. To be determined. Thanks for all the good information. On a side note and I guess perhaps a separate post but I have two Subaru engines that came with this car. Both sixers. One is a 3.0 liter and the other is an aviation modified eg33 called the cross flow. What do you guys think these motors might be worth. The 3.0 liter came out of a running car and the other spent time in Canada having this aviation app added. |
