Building 2258 from 1.7 for 73 914. 96 mm cylinders, 78mm stroke, Web Cam Raby 2500 grind, Hoffman/Raby 2.0 heads. Installing valve train now. Valve stems have .077 thick lash caps. Rockers are 1.7 liter version. I’m planning on ordering oem 911 swivel foot valve adjusters. Planning to use HD aluminum push rods although I had considered chromoly and was advised against them due to coefficient of expansion. Have adjustable push rod on the way for proper geometry adjustment. Not sure if (or how much) grinding from rocker arm bottoms will be required to allow for proper movement of swivel foot. Also need to discover whether valve stem lash caps should be used with swivel foot adjusters. And if I’ll need to shim rocker arm mounts to achieve proper half lift geometry. So I’ll, report as I go. Any advice for me?

Rocker arms have to be machined. Use 2.0L arms with 10mm harded steel swivel feet. Will post picture up tomorrow.

@Robroe

I have used both 911 swivel feet and Thorsten Pieper swivel Feet. They are available in M8 & M10 here.Thorsten Piper Swivel feet They may be cheaper than 911 feet.

Thorsten Pieper & CrMo pushrods hands down better when it's valve adjustment time.
