Window Guide same part on early and late doors? Options

I have a very early 73 with 70-72 doors. In looking at the PET diagram below, I'm guessing #1 refers to the 70-72 guide and #15 refers to the 73-76 guide. Are these parts indeed different? The reason I ask is because the annodizing is irrepairably scratched on my original but I have that part from a 74. The 74 part is still in the door in storage 5 hours round trip away from me so I figured I'd ask the experts if these parts are sawpable...

All the guides front and rear are different from early cable style regulators vs late scissor style regulators and so are the door glasses (not vent window).

I had an early 73 without reinforcements but it had the scissor style regulators. The regulator type drives all the other pieces needed not the year.

The early cable set-up uses small rollers at the front of the glass and a nylon rear window guide that wasn't the greatest design.

Late scissor set-ups added rubber channels into the vertical guides per modern cars practice, making them smother, tighter, and more weather resistant.

The aluminum front channel is the same in exterior dimensions but not internally and if you restore a set of the wrong type you'll be very unhappy when you go to put the doors together and the parts do not fit.

If your 73 has a scissor style regulator then the 74 front channel will work .
