I picked up a spare throttle body for a project I have in mind. The part number on the side of it is 039.133.067 D, I went to the PET and looked for the number to verify the fitment but I didn’t see that number, what I found was 039.133.062 A-D. Any google search for the.062 number brings up squat.
The .067 is all over 914world and eBay. So I went to my parts book, a reprint from 1984 and there is the same .062, this reprint didn’t include’75-‘76 model years.
I’m supposing the error goes back to the original parts book?
I have to check the number on a 1.7 TB, I have one in the parts cabinet.
Someone must have seen this before.

Often cast parts carry the casting number which is close to the parts number. Ibdont know of any source for the correlation
