When removing the factory foam residing in the rear quarter panel above and to the outside of the taillight an open void will be left. The cavity needs to be treated for rust prevention with paint, primer, etc.
Does anyone block off this cavity to prevent debris build up now that it has become a catch can? If so, how? With what? Thanks |

Some people use plastic fender liners. I plan to just prime and paint. I’ll clean it up as needed. Definitely not putting foam back in that spot - or anywhere on the car.
