I put a center console in my '72 with an oil temp gauge and finally found a taco plate and sending unit. Now I am scratching my head about wiring. this should be a simple job but thought I would ask all you experts so I don't screw it up.
Thanks. |

just hooked one up on a six, so I can't help with that end....but just aft of the shifter, under the carpet is a green wire with white stripe that goes to the gauge

And an FYI my '72 did not have a console as an option so I doubt that it is wired for gauges. I think I am working some scratch.
