How 'bout adding a "Location" in the profile section so that a poster's location appears with their other info at the left of a post. I really like to know what area someone is in when evaluating the information posted.

Yah, I added my location to the preferences and was surprised it didn't show up in my post info. I like that idea.

Ok, it works... member location is shown

Oh, Ginter and Mark Henry, you got quite some nerve...
Goto "my controls" RIGHT NOW and fill in your location!!!!!!

I'll admit I have NOT looked at the "My Controls" feature much. I did find the email feature, but didnt look around after that.

how about showing who is logged in currently, where you can see it at the top of the forum page. I used this a lot at the other forum.

Its at the bottom of this page:

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act=SC&c=1

One page back from the actual form page. I dont see a big issue in moving up to where PP has it.

You see it right after you login towards the bottom.

OK...here's my request, not sure if it can be done.

I think it would really help out the navigating between the threads if you added the "Next Oldest | Next Newest" option at the bottom of the thread page also. That way you don't have to get to the top of the thread page before you can move on.

Just a thought.

That is a VERY good idea. I'll have to ask Jeroen to see if it is possible in the code. It should be.

Yeah, it's a big surprise every time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Everytime, when waiting for a test, the sentence "what did I forget?" goes through your mind
