Felix, you are very funny.............................. LOOKING. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Your just jealous your valve covers aren't powder coated the same color as mine.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) I'm trying to imagine that Banks turbo motor tied to that 930 in an all tube 914...... Doesn't look like a GT40 replica chassis.....Perhaps the Factory5 GTM, which started out as a GT40 replica, then was re-styled to prevent a similar conflict they had with their Cobra replica's and Carrol Shelby. Besides, a GT40 replica with Chevy power?? Andys |

Andy, There were so many cars, it may have been another kit. I mistakenly asked the sales rep if it was a G50 "206" and he agreed. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) There are Chevy's in GT40 kit cars, probably because of more perf options... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) It's costly to be original especially with the transaxle... |

I bet the 11k box isn't synchro though. Damn it! When is someone going to make a synchro 5 speed that will take unlimited hp/torque and never break. I'm getting tired of waiting.

Doesnt ZF make those? They cost a few bucks, but they fit that description. Oh wait, you want a syncro 5 speed that wont break for the price of a 901... i forgot, this is the 914club (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

I think it is a sequential shifter box (like a motorcycle?) so it seems some kind of synchro-like mechanism would be involved. S4 / S5 Overview |
