50 km drive home on the highway, keeping lots of distance, averaging 70 mph with traffic, cold and dark 6 degrees C, what's that 40's Fahrenheit?

Heat worked like a champ, I was warm all the way home.

Engine was strong (stock 1.8).

Tachometer was steady except when shifting she was a bit bouncy.

Nice, nice drive home.

Until I stalled her halfway up the driveway and she wouldn't re-start.

Lights on key turn, no starter.

Went to the mailbox. Brought the mail into the house. Went back to the car.

Elapsed time 7 minutes.

Started right up.

Nothing I haven't heard of before.

Cross your fingers for tomorrow morning on the way back to work.

In the meantime..... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer3.gif)

Awesome (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif)
...
I had that same start problem about 6 months ago... I think I deduced it to a broken plastic key/ignition switch and some wire on my starter relay setup was real loose. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)

For real. I've taken it out twice from the warehouse at work to do bank runs. It hurt everytime I got in my truck to drive home at the end of the day 'cuz I wanted to take her.

I have a friggin' mile wide grin on my face. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

She started up fine a minute ago to roll into the garage to sleep.

UPDATE:

Made it back to work!

Couple of stops on the way in including refueling and I had no problems.

It even snowed this morning. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

As soon as they send out the salt trucks she has to go to bed, but until then.....
