Check this out - I just had to share. Found a guy in town who does real Cadmium plating (reasonable) and had my just purchased sway bar links (thanks to STL914!) plated. It's a little thing that very few will notice but it sure looks good in my living room!

Vance,

I sent you the wrong ones. Please send them back. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Damn, those look good. I was considering having the set on my 72 powder coated, but this looks so much better. I'd also like to know what the cost was to have that done.

He charges me $50 for the set, which also included several miscellaneous items from my 911. I think he would have charged me $50 no matter how much I had? If I remember right, I had the spring plates on my 911 done about 18 months ago and it was $50 as well.
