I still need to go see one in the flesh, but I really DON'T like the rear quarter window (it reminds me of a Ferrari) and I think the way the rockerpanel sweeps into the side vent is quite cheesey too
There's a lot of smaller details I don't like about the Cayman/987/997 Like the cutlines between the rear taillights/rearfenders/rearbumbers (horizontal lines like on the 986 would look soo much better) and the rounded off corners of the front bootlid looks so "new beetle" Then again, I'm pretty sure it's a blast to drive. Even more so with one of those 385bhp X51 engines Brad posted recently (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/w00t.gif) |
