no, but i have added a '74 colum to my '70 car and that was about as much work as relocating the damm thing. nothing matched and i had to re-index the shaft and machine the mounting plate. so, from that experience, i can say, it sure can be done. grinding, cutting and welding and beer is all you'll need ...
