trying to log in on my other comp , but been so long i forgot the user password.. password hint aint ringing any bells either.way to either bypass it or deprogram it to need a password?

try a google search on 'lost password windows xp' there are some utilities out there that will let you reset the administrators password. Have a look here

heck, if you've got an extra hard drive just install xp on it and slave your locked out drive to it to recover all data.
