Everyone who is thinking of doing a "rustoration" should be required to watch these videos. It would change many minds!
Very well done videos by the way. I'd love to see a series like this one a 914. It would be very edjumucational! |

Very impressive fabrication shop there I gotta say. I'd LOVE to have a garage that well equipped. The monster sheet metal brakes were the kicker... Definitely learned a bunch watching those clips. I hope we get some more installments sometime soon. I wanna see how it turns out! -Josh2 |

Ok, I was expect more for such a long time without a video...but cool none the less.
Will someone please explain the lead filling process? I didn't think it was used very much anymore? What was the stuff that he was applying before melting the lead? Isn't lead TOXIC? -Britain |

I believe he said sotter (sp?).... therefore what he used before would be the flux to clean it...
but it sure did look like lead... Its much stronger than plastic filler, used on top quality cars.. |

That was pretty amazing. I wonder why they did not buy replacement panels? Sure looks like alot more work making frame rails, floor pans, etc. maybe they aren't going for the stock look? I noticed that the turn signals and gas tank filler were removed too. I wonder if there will be an engine upgrade.
