OK guys, I'm sure this has been covered before but I am desperate. I have searched the net high and low for the rubber elbow air intake boot for a 1.8 L.... I know that they are no longer made but what are my options at this point? I'd really like to avoid putting carbs on at this point.

Thanks in advance,

John

Do you still have the remains of the old one? You can repair some damage with bicycle innertube repair stuff. If that won't work, you may be able to fake up something out of PVC pipe that fits.

And take a generation backwards step in FI technology.

Something can be fabbed up to work for the duct.

I have one, its solid but a bit stiff. I'll send it to you for shipping costs.

*KEEP* the metal fitting things, this elbow doesnt have one for some reason.
