Driving on PCH through Laguna Beach today and my girlfriend spots this guy on the side of the road who is about to skateboard off of a portable... So we pull over and watch...he ollies like 15 feet off of it and just as I am about to get back on the road, a green six with a rollbar (don't know what year) with license plate "32FLAT6" zooms by and gives me a little rev. I attempt to catch up in my slow little 2.0 and we exchange waves and thumbs ups. We drove side by side for awhile into Laguna Beach and I tried to race...didn't work... So, is this guy a member of the non-club or does anyone know him?

About 5 minutes later, a red Speedster pulls in front of me and I follow him for a bit before turning off PCH.

It was cool to finally spot another teener while I was in mine! Usually I'm in a friend's car or something and the guy just thinks I'm a psycho when I wave at him. I'm glad there's a comradery between 914 owners - made my day.

Hey. Yeah, that was me. It's always fun to see another '14 on the road even in SoCal. Seeing a '14 on my commute is a pretty rare occurance nowadays.
I do usually give a headlight flash to other '14s but I've got a short right now that sets the wiring under the dash on fire when I hit the lights so I'm laying off the headlights for a while.
