Hey guys,

May 15th is the PCA Grand Prix region's "Day Away from Work" autocross at the Streets of Willow... It's on a Monday so you'll have to plan ahead, but you should have time to make arrangements! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

This event is run to PCA autocross rules, that is to say that stock harnesses are acceptable, no fire bottle or roll bar/cage required. Long sleeves and a helmet are required. Common sense required.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

There are three practice sessions, run as continuous laps, and three full stop timed laps.

This is a great event for those of you without all the gear to get out on the track and have a blast. It's also a LOT cheaper than your average track day. Just a hunnert bucks! Here's a link to the entry form:

http://gpx.pca.org/Documents/Spring2006Day...ayAwayFlyer.pdf

I ran this event last October (In a 944 turbo) and had a blast! If you can take a day off work and make it happen it'll be time well spent!

Yeah, I think so.... Depends on the condition of the belts, of course. My buddy had out of date belts last time.

I can loan you a set of Sabelts that are still good you if you need 'em...

No excuses dude, you gotta make it... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Mugs, so how much track time? Is it worth the pull from AZ? When you get a chance, PM me your phone number. I got questions. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Hey Greg,

Missed you at the speedway!

Three twenty to thirty minute sessions plus three timed laps. About like a one day DE or time trial. Could be worth the pull, especially if we put together some kind of activity for the weekend too!

Any excuse for a (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/jsharp.gif)
