I finally took my digital camera out to Gent racing and took some pic's of this 906 carrera that Mike Gent is restoring. If there is interest, I'll keep posting pics as it continues its restoration.

As I look at cars like this I get a sick feeling, because I go into the garage and see my pile of scrap metal sitting there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) I love stuff like that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

Thanks for sharing!

I'm really interested in what an original front caliper for a 906 look like. I have one that is not 911 'S' and not 908 but they are all aluminum of the same style.

The 906 front caliper is aluminum and is very similar to the 911S one. I'll take a close up the next time I'm out there.

Maybe we could do a road trip/rally during the WWC'06 out towards Newberg and Sherwood and make a stop at the shop? IF there is interest, I'l talk with Mr. Gent and Craig and set something up. I think the project will be nearly completed at that time.

Just a thought.
