We can do that. An oldie and not a great pic. Mine is bolted in
with suitable doublers on the opposite side. Welding it in would have been easier. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
This is the Vellious mount which Rich copied and "improved".

It's had some nasty treatment for bout 5 years & holding up fine
....last I looked (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I took the pic just before the 2.7
went in.

Since you asked . . . Rich Johnson mount. Got a little carried away with the welder, probably didn't need a full bead all the way around. Oh well. May get paint on it next weekend if I'm lucky.

If the blogs worked you could see images of my installation of the "maddog" mount. I didn't bolt it...I just welded it in place.
