Smoke from nasty brush fire on way home on Interstate 5. Note the California Aquaduct in picture bringing down water to fight the fires and water lawns.

My personal favorite Elliot, I am glad others appreciate it too. The Bumble Bee performed well on the way home. Kind of like a go-kart with a rocket attached to its tail. Ran like a champ until it hit the Central Valley Floor and then "the twins" (Triple 40IDA Webers) decided they prefered higher altitude. Kind of sounded like popcorn popping right behind my head. Pretty much got that straight now... I drove the Bumble Bee to work two days this week. Drove the 4 cylinder Friday just to be fair. The 4 is all refined and enjoyable in its own way while the Bumble Bee is all stinger and zoom... I couldn't be a happier guy right now. Anyway, off to drive a teener. What the heck am I doing inside on this box with two running teeners in the driveway? |
