just thought this might encourage other 914ers to see the potential of the o'l mighty 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .

post some pics of your 914 before/during/after your 914: ...

-got in an accident

-when you just bought your 914 and then you restored it

-OR SOMETHING

again this might be something encouraging to other teeners, and just for the plain fun of it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jsharp.gif)

Dont want to High Jack but Dr. Evil are your flares flares or just nicely pulled fenders. It looks like maybe you did the slit and add metal deal. Just curious. looks very nice.I also like the way your 916 front bumber fits just looks a little better than most.

I Lost ALL OF MY PICS

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Started life as a 74 DJET with a 2.0L engine, and living room carpet (sky blue) installed and didnt want to start. Door Hinge used to secure throttle pedal to floor. Sticky brake caliper and needed clutch change.

Painted red now, steelies. 2.0L engine. engine dies, I got new engine from a member here, 1.7L. Mechanic decides single carb will work and slaps it together, runs for a year...goes lean and drops seat/valve.

Had wreck, picked up hot pink 914, grafted front end, repaint

1.7L engine dies (mentioned above) and replaceed by current 1.7L. I do all oof the work, use a VW bus LJET system, tuned down for the 1.7. Everything works great!
