I'm posting this here just as a reminder for myself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

When "asking the seller a question" on the classifieds, you can send a message without leaving an e-mail address... not too smart, so fix it

No, I actually got a PM (from another fellow in the Netherlands)
He got a response on his ad, but the guy who send the e-mail didn't include his e-mail address (some people (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )

I'll build a form-validator into the page...

cheers,

Jeroen

you know, if the guys who's asking the question is logged in you could just fill in his email automatically (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

What is happening..is this:

Non-members are responding to the classifieds ads and not putting in their email address.

I got one yesterday that was trying to locate the person who sent them a question and the person who sent the question wasnt a member here.

I had no idea ANYONE could miss the "email address here" field.

Yep, I thought that was pretty stoopid too...

It's obvious stuff like this that always gets overlooked when testing
You need a real idiot to test your stuff before you can say it's idiot-proof (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

weird!
the ask-seller-question form already had a validator... and it is working now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
I did make some other changes, but didn't touch the validator

can you please test it?

thanks...
