All,

There's a circular elastomeric gasket/seal around the outer portion of the door lock tumbler that pretty much disintegrated when I dis-assembled my door handles. I would like to find a replacement, but frankly don't know where to start looking. I replaced the door latch cam, which I purchased from Pellican, but they said the seal is NLA. I would prefer to not leave it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy

I know exactly the seal that you're taking about. I wasn't able to find any when I searched a couple of years ago.

I used a piece of shrink-tubing in place of it... seemed to work out okay.

Gee, I wish I had thought of that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

Wrap several layers of scotch tape (the shiny kind) or some shrink tubing
