The aluminized paper hoses that connect the whole fresh air and defrost system together are brittle and crumbling on my car. Every time I move a hose it breaks somewhere. Is there a replacement available for these or has anyone found a good substitute? I don't think these hoses see the full exhaust temp and don't need to be CAT or SCAT. Has anyone found something decent at a bug shop or Mcmaster Carr?

I promised the part numbers to another member yesterday. The 914 falling on my face after a jack stand collapsed distracted me. I'll get them tomorrow.

But basically, there are bus and/or bug hoses that you can buy for as little as $2 that are an exact fit and work fine.

Small tube - Bug - 113-255-291-DE

Large tube - Bus - 211-261-236

They are like $2-3 each.
