I know I must be missing something but is there a way to delete a topic that I started (in the wrong forum for instance) or do I have to get an Admin to do it?

Yeh, what happened to that feature? We could do it once upon a time.
I would like to delete classifieds when stuff sells but can't figure out how.

I also wanted to delete a reply in a topic, but wasn't able to, so I had 2 almost identical posts.

We've discussed this ad nauseum. There are points on both sides of the debate.

There's no way to make a distinction between deleting a duplicate topic or one with a hundred replies from other members. We took a "middle of the road" approach:

Users can edit their own posts. If they feel so strongly about deleting the content of their own message, they can. But they cannot nuke the contributions of their fellow members.

I hope this answers the question. If there is something that you need to delete, please feel free to contact any Admin.
