Hey all. I'm going to redo my interior completely custom. I'm planning to take all the carpet and sound deadening material out and make the inside just painted metal. However, I'm not stripping the whole car down and painting an entire shell(not ready to do that yet). What would I need to strip the paint a carpet glue? How would you guys do it?
Also, any custom interior pics that you guys would like to share (especially the racers) would be helpful. Thanks. Mark D. |

Mark,
Check out this link from my thread a couple of months ago http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...c=66838&hl= I started out just looking to remove the backpad, and ended up putting down Dynamat, replacing the tan carpet with a charcoal color, and painting the door panels black. Hopefully there will be some useful information there for you. Good luck on your project! |

Mark,
Follow my link at the bottom of my signature. There are interior pics on page two or three. I'm changing the red dash and gauge panel for black carbon fiber. Just haven't installed it yet. |
