went home this weekend for a wedding and busted out the ghia for the spring. Maiden voyage was a little rough due to the fuel pump acting flaky but after that she ran like a dream.

a couple camera phone pics:

dad dusting her off after a long sleep and a quick photo op in front of the erie canal.

great weather, red sox beat up on the yanks pretty good, saw some old friends at a wedding. Nothing soothes the soul quite like home.

excellent. I sold my Ghia to buy my 914- back before they had much value. I sold it for $1600 and it was perfect.

I just found out that my neighbor has a '56 ghia that he restored a few years back. It's absolutely pristine! Very cool car.

its a fun cruiser. The steering is getting a little loose and obviously doesn't perform like a 914, but its such a beautiful car and gets a lot of looks.
