I'm breaking my car down for paint. I want to take the all the glass and equipment out of the door so I can clean up the inside of the door and paint. Am I taking on more than I want...ie. window adjustments, etc. Is there a proper procedure for the removal and install?

Thanks, Dave

Do you have an early car 70-72 or later 73-76, The early cars are tricky and the later ones pretty easy.

When I stripped my doors...

it took an hour to take the obvious stuff off. Then a day to find the hidden screws that hold the other non-obvious stuff on. I have not tried to put them back on yet. that will happen sooner then later though. I have just been putting it off.
