I'd have lots of issues with that /6, especially at the "buy it now price".

How rare is the gold paint code? and all '71 models are very rare, right?

I think there might be a reason that gold paint color was rare (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

Now that being said I would still take that car but not @ those kind of numbers.

Here is a bit of fun to fix on the pan......

Notice the big dent in the rear bottom of the tranny tunnel...... and the smaller one towards the front

Yessir boys and girls, that rear dent is right where the clutch cable and accelerator cable and fuel lines run ......

That causes the accelerator and clutch to stick and not return..

Don't ask me how I know.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

A moving company had to put new pans on the bottom of my car from their damage during the last move.... I wasn't receptive to their offer of a slide hammer to fix the problem (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)

It does have Bilstein struts up front with 3.5 spacing and S-Calipers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Lots-o-issues. $15k in my book.

I knew a guy in high school who drove a gold colored 914 but other than that I have seen very few of them. I downloaded this guy's "walk around" video and I think the car looks good in gold.

This car was for sale on the east coast roughly 1-2 months ago, with an asking price of $20k.

I love the gold! Wish I could have afforded the extra $300 bucks to get it.

This six has way too many issues for the buy-iy-now price, or even close. There's a lot more rust there than they're letting on, holes in the dash, and good god - black paint everywhere it shouldn't be. It could be called "stylish" on the rear taillight panel & the insides of the targa panels, but inside the trunks tells me this car is hiding too much; even a rattle can of Kmart gold would have been better. No rust! Riiight!

Knocking on the $20,000 door, but still has not met reserve. I hope an active member wins her.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
