this one is not a factory built GT, but it's a well known and sucessful race car, at least here in Europe
the really interesting part should be the engine, it's a 2 Liter Carrera 6 the asking price is EUR 74,000 - that's currently about US$ 108,000 this includes 2 trannsmissions, both with cooler and LSD one with gear ratio for "standard race tracks" and one for the Nürburgring there's also a 100 liter tank, but a modern style here's the sales ad (unfortunately in German only) with 4 photos more photos (that I took at a track event) are at Armando's pages Attached image(s)

Certainly the Singer car was not registered at that time. Perhaps the very first one might have been.

All except the first few had a body #. 0033 had body # 8 and was built Nov 1969. I don't know the VIN of the Singer GT, but I'm very sure is is not that early.
