Jonathan,

Looks like a washer pump. There is no switch, per-se, but rather a relay that is installed between the wiper motor and wiper switch.See picture below. The relay is usually mounted on a post between the cowl and the body in front of the steering wheel

Look in the classics, Andy did a thread on this. I recently did the install per Andy's thread
