I was thinking of a way to make money off that. There are plenty of sub $500 cars that you could make run poorly enough to get the $1000, but I think they would probably just pay a community college to fix it.

At least twice now there have been these setups near where I live where they randomly select cars to be tested along the side of the road. They set up a complete smog check station with rollers for the wheels and all.

I wonder what it means for our little cars. It seems that the machines don't discriminate and "technically" while we are test exempt (75 and older) I don't know if that means we can be exempt from these rolling test devices.

Anyone know for sure?

Think they can still get you if your puffing at all ( gross polluter ). Think it's away around the per '74 law..
